We are looking for a Software Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities

Write bug reports
Provide quality assurance
Trouble shoot and problem solve
Design tests to mitigate risk
Present findings to software development and business user teams
Analysing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
Provide timely solutions
Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Provide support and documentation
Document analysis
Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.
Work with software developers and project support teams
Identify business requirements
Monitor applications and software systems
Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing
Write and execute test scripts
Run manual and automated tests
Test in different environments including web and mobile

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Linux Commands
Knowledge and Hands-On Experience of Test Management Tool.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in any defect tracking tool.
Knowledge and Hands-on experience Automation tool
Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture.
Knowledge of a broad range of software applications and of hardware and networks
Academic Background: B.Eng., in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and other related Engineering fields. B. Sc. Computer Science, MSc. Computer Science would be an added advantage
Strong programming knowledge
Basic Knowledge of Database/SQL
