We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Medical Doctor Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Descriptions

  • He/she will provide continuous on-site medical care to meet the needs of clients.
  • He/she will examine the case folders of clients to complete admission formalities execute treatment plans and coordinate the activities of ancillary staff.
  • He/she will make suitable arrangements for immediate management of emergencies when they occur.
Responsibilities
  • The Medical Director is the Head/Chief Executive of the institution
  • He is accountable to the Board of Management
  • The Medical Director is charged with the responsibility of the execution of policies and matters affecting the day-to-day management of the affairs of the hospital.
  • Monitor and provide general care to patients on hospital wards and in outpatient clinics
  • Admit patients requiring special care, followed by investigations and treatment
  • Examine and talk to patients to diagnose their medical conditions
  • Carry out specific procedures, e.g. performing operations and specialist investigations
  • Make notes and prepare paperwork, both as a legal record of treatment and for the benefit of other healthcare professionals
  • Work with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department or within other specialties
  • Liaise with other medical and non-medical staff in the hospital to ensure quality treatment
  • Promote health education
  • Undertake managerial responsibilities such as planning the workload and staffing of the department, especially at more senior levels
  • Teach and supervise junior doctors and medical students
  • Carry out auditing and research.
Requirements
  • Candidates must be Medical Practitioners registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria not less than four (4) years post qualification in general medicine with good diagnostic acumen.
  • Candidates must have MBBS / MBChB from a recognized Medical school. Registered with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, valid and current license;
  • Candidates must have been Consultants for a minimum of three (3) years;
  • Candidates must be medically fit;
  • Candidates must be of proven good character and integrity;
  • Superior patient/customer service, ethics, and bedside manners.
  • Interest in general surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and anaesthesiology will be added advantage.
  • Evidence of Medical Researches is an added advantage;
  • Administrative qualification and experience is an added advantage;
  • Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an added advantage.
  • Must have surgical experience
    Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Descriptions
  • Medical technicians use sophisticated equipment and often work in several areas of a clinical lab.
  • However, specialists are also needed and have different responsibilities and levels of interaction with patients.
  • Some work directly with patients-phlebotomists draw blood-while others work in a lab (histotechnicians).
  • Without compassionate phlebotomists, patients’ fears and phobias would be exacerbated.
  • Without skilled medical laboratory technicians, tests wouldn’t be accurate and useful.
Responsibilities
  • Admit patients requiring special care, followed by investigations and treatment
  • Examine and talk to patients to diagnose their medical conditions
  • Collect samples of blood, urine and spinal fluid from patients and perform various laboratory tests depending upon the disease the patient is suffering from
  • Perform all kinds of tests like microscopic tests, bacteriological tests and chemical tests to check the composition of the biological samples in the laboratories
  • Analyze the tests that have been performed and provide relevant results that may pertain in diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases
  • Check the blood group and blood type and help in successful blood transfusion for patients suffering from severe diseases
  • Check, Clean, sterilize and look after the maintenance of all kinds of equipment used in the laboratories for performing various tests
  • Make sure that required chemicals and infrastructure are available in the laboratories
  • Test for drug levels in blood
  • Carry out specific procedures, e.g. performing operations and specialist investigations
  • Work with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department or within other specialties
Requirements
  • Candidates must be Medical Practitioners registered with professional bodies not less than four (4) years post qualification
  • Should be well-acquainted with the technologies and methods used in testing blood
  • Capable of looking into the details and getting apt results from the tests performed
  • Willingness, enthusiasm and ability to meet the assigned task within time
  • Excellent communication skills and good expertise in written skills
  • Should be proficient in handling all kinds of laboratory equipment
  • Interest in general surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and anaesthesiology will be added advantage.
