  • The Masterclass Producer will be responsible for growing and overseeing the digital Motherland Mogul Masterclasses program (see here).
Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the SLA Masterclass program - make it your baby!
  • Research, develop and suggest new Masterclass topics based on data and feedback from our community
  • Identify instructors for the various masterclasses (SLA team members, senior business leaders). Producer will be required to be the instructor for at least 4 masterclasses)
  • Manage/oversee program logistics (identifying instructors, sending out calendar invites, test videos etc)
  • Create aesthetic and functional Masterclass "workbooks" for participants to use during instruction, based on the curriculum sent by instructors
  • Develop and implement marketing strategy for how to scale/grow program sign ups
Requirements We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has the ability to live and work in either Lagos, Nigeria or Cape Town, South Africa
  • Has previous experience teaching or creating training courses
  • Has broad business experience or has worked across multiple functions in a business
  • Has the ability to explain complex things in a simple, open manner
  • Has a clear idea about the types of lessons young women in Africa need to
  • Has ample project management skills, and is not afraid to take ownership of a new program and help it grow

  • The VP Finance  is responsible for ensuring that we're able to get paid.
Responsibilities
  • Directing all aspects of accounting operations
  • Analyzing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
  • Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Oversee accountant.

  • Come up with creative short video concepts in line with SLAs content mandate (i.e. must have some connection to women's career and business)
  • Create at least 3-6 videos per week
  • Analyze users’ feedback to improve content ideas
  • Work with the sales team to create video content for brand partners

  • The VP Content is responsible for managing the entire content platform for SLA (Website, Newsletter, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
Responsibilities
  • Manage all content associates (~4-5) by reviewing their workflow processes and all content before they get published
  • Develop monthly targets for all content associates and conduct quarterly performance review
  • Develop new content ideas for the website and social media including multimedia and downloadable options
  • Build the SLA brand as a platform that allows others to create and show their brands
  • Track and monitor weekly visitor analytics and ensure monthly growth on all platforms
  • Be responsible for all digital programming on social media including twitter chats, webinars, facebook q&a’s, Instagram takeovers, etc

  • Bring traditional and creative ideas how to grow our community across social and newsletter
  • A/B test those ideas
  • Analyze the data and users’ feedback
  • Exchange ideas/data/feedback with other departments (Product, marketing, top management) in order to present results and make the product more user-centric
  • Understand conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and hacks and being able to apply CRO hacks to any businesses.
  • Working on a lean startup process.
  • Work with the AARRR Sales Metrics Diagram (Acquisition – Activation – Retention – Referral - Revenue)
  • Prioritize growth channels

  • Knowledgeable about referral marketing and being able to create viral growth.
