We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title:  Executive Assistant (EA) Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full Time Reports to: The CEO; COO. Department: Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Job Summary

  • The Executive Assistant is experienced in handling a wide range of executive, administrative and personal support-related tasks.
  • He/She is able to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • The Executive Assistant is a highly resourceful team-player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure with the ability to work long hours where necessary, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.
  • The individual has the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills; and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
  • He/She will report directly to the CEO, while being administratively managed by the COO to ensure well-laid out plans are executed effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities Administrative Support:
  • Assist the CEO with daily administrative duties and complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas and compiling documents for meetings.
  • Conserves the CEO’s time and promotes the brand image by representing him internally and externally; acting as liaison between key executives, and the employees.
  • Communicates with the general staff on behalf of the CEO and coordinates logistics for high-level meetings both internally and externally. Coordinate meetings and strategic activities with the senior leadership team and other members of the team
  • Supports the CEO in his external commitments related to his mandate such as accompanying him to speaking engagements, and generally process his activities and/or memberships with other organizations.
  • Arranges all CEO’s travels and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas; scheduling flights; booking other transportation where needed; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations.
  • Ensures the responsibilities of the CEO are well executed in line with the mandate of the office of the CEO, according to lawful and ethical standards.
  • Administers the budget for the office of the CEO and ensures that expenses are consistent with set policies.
  • Will be required to run professional and personal errands on behalf of the CEO
Strategy & Operations Support:
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development as a core member of the CEO’s team
  • Provide professional support in strategic tasks and in the day-to-day activities of the business. Prepare and follow-up with meetings, and take responsibility for the preparation of presentations
  • Manage projects in a large context especially in the areas critical to the office the CEO
  • Carry out research, analysis, evaluation and preparation of decision-making recommendations as well as strategic and operational tasks within outlined strategy
  • Manage internal communication with various stakeholders to support the CEO’s mandate
  • Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.
  • Enhance the CEO’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Technical Requirements & Knowledge

In addition to the areas above, a great candidate for this role:
  • Has previously worked in the capacity of Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant
  • Has a strong proficiency with Calendars, Document management and Spreadsheets.
  • Can interpret, explain and apply complex policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Can plan and conduct complex and sensitive administrative and operational duties.
  • Can organize and prioritize work and meet critical deadlines.
  • Must be an all-around awesome performance-driven person
  • Is a polished professional with significant experience (minimum 3 years) supporting a senior executive/senior management
  • Has experience at fast-paced organizations.
  • Is comfortable with self-managing.
  • Has a degree from an accredited College or University.
  • Has excellent verbal and superior writing and report presentation skills.
