Job For Accountant In A Reputable MicroFinance Bank

LeadHire Limited - Our client, a MicroFinance bank requires the services of a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below: Job Title: Accountant Location: Festac, Lagos Requirements

B.Sc/HND holders with a minimum of 7 years experience and 5 years of it must be in a Microfinance bank.
Knowledge of Bank One software is required.
Candidates residing around Festac Town would be given preference.
ACA or ACCA Certified.
MicroFinance Banking Certificate.

Responsibilities

Develop periodic reports for management.
Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.
Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups.
Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation.
Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles.
Prepare budget and financial forecasts.
Publish financial statements in time.
Conduct monthend and yearend close process.
Collect, analyze and summarize account information.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.
