FAD Farms Nigeria Limited is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:       Job Title: Living-in Farm Cook/ Cleaner Location: Ota, Ogun State. Job Responsibilities

• Preparing meals for the farm with a keen interest in cooking.
• Take care of the farm ensuring that it is always clean, and tidy.
• Special attention to cooking healthy and serving nutritious meals.
• Cook must be experienced cater for a large number of farm workers.
• The duties and responsibilities would vary from time to time.
• Duties may include:
• General clean up of kitchen,Office, room and eating area.
• Washing egg crates for the farm.
• Presenting menus for approval and discussing daily requirements with the CEO
• Grocery shopping, maintaining accounts and budgets
• Placing orders for kitchen supplies
• Maintaining stock control.

• Control temperature of houses for ultimate bird comfort
• Conduct maintenance on the house and watering/heating system as needed
• Control house lighting to meet bird needs
• Maintain high standards of animal welfare
• Ensure birds have access to food and water
• Walk through the house to Identify sick or injured birds
• Utilize proper biosecurity standards when entering and exiting houses
• On layer farms, assist with egg collection, washing and sorting
• On layer farms, assist with putting eggs in cartons
• Poultry experience is a must.

• Sorting of eggs such as color, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct uniformity of eggs.
• Clean inferior or defective eggs or foreign matter, and place acceptable egg in crates for sale.
• Package eggs for shipment to Depot.
• Weigh products or estimate their weight, visually or by feel.
• Measure physical characteristics of sale.
• Record grade egg on shipping, receiving, or sales sheets.
• Record crates in inventory data.
