We are recruiting to fill the position below:       Job Title: Interior Design Project Manager Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Functions of the Role

  • visit prospective clients, take measurements, capture clients aspirations, conceptualize ideas and translate clients agenda for the design team to work on
  • Determine the client’s goals and 8prequirements of the project
  • Propose how space will be used and how - note materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures
  • Prepare final plans
  • Coordinates and oversees the project life cycle
  • Manages projects from conception through completion
  • Visit after the project to ensure that the client is satisfied.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications advised by clients
  • Manage workflow, oversee the completion of activities and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Work with internal operations to ensure all requests are being completed satisfactorily
  • Assist in ensuring that clear and accurate reporting of active, pending and completed projects is maintained and understood within the team.
Requirements
  • Minimum of BA/HND/BSC degree in any field
  • 1-2 years of interior design experience is compulsory
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Passion for interior design and art
  • English needs to be spoken and written fluently
  • Computer skills and social media savvy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Always up for a challenge.
  • Proximity to the Island is a plus
      Job Title: Beauty Studio Operations Manager Job Code: OX/TBA/0050 Location: Lagos The function of the Role
  • A beauty studio operations manager oversees all staff, budgets, and operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily studio operations
  • Supervise staff to ensure that staff actively carry out their roles
  • Ensure strict compliance and monitoring of organizational rules, policies and standards
  • Prepare daily sales reports
  • Ensure all beauty treatments/services meet the company’s standards
  • Ensure the business environment is properly cleaned at all times
  • Ensure that the work stations are properly maintained and are clean at all times
  • Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment
  • Supervise cleaning and check at timely intervals
  • Update and uphold company’s policies as required
  • Handle and resolve all clients’ complaints
  • Reconcile payments received with sales officer
Requirements Educational Qualification:
  • BSc/BA; MSc/MA is a plus
Experience:
  • 4 years’ experience as a Manager or similar executive role
  • Experience in the beauty industry is a plus

  • Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs
  • Estimate the quantity and costs of materials
  • Valuation of completed projects and arrangement for payment
  • Preparing, negotiating and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts
  • Conducting feasibility studies to estimate, time and labor costs
  • Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials
  • Analyze costs for maintenance and additional building needs
  • Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
  • Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
  • Hire and document contractors and subcontractors
  • Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers
  • Keep track of construction materials and inventory
  • Identify potential financial or construction risks
  • Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs
  • Prepare payments for contractors and subcontractors
  • Document progress, materials, and reports on project
  • Advise on property taxes, regulations, and local laws
  • Source maintenance costs and facilities management for clients
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors and subcontractors
  • Utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates
  • Analyze completed projects to determine ROI and compare costs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering, management, or related field
  • 2-3 years of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction experience, or related field
  • Quantity Survey experience is a must
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of construction
  • A clear understanding of HSE building regulations and legal guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • The ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to analyze financial records and apply data to improved results
  • Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
  • Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills
  • In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Candidate resident on the Island is a plus.
