Inland Containers Nigeria Limited Vacancy for a Heavy Duty (KALMAR) Equipment Mechanic

Inland Containers Nigeria Limited is a fully indigenous organization incorporated in February, 1980 to provide Port Services to the hinterland shipping communities in the country. The Company was born out of necessity and packaged as a veritable intervention facilitator to assist the rapid industrialization and development of the hinterland. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Heavy Duty (KALMAR) Equipment Mechanic Location: Kaduna/Kano Purpose

• Perform technical/functional, minor/major repair and maintenance tasks for all heavy duty driven equipment.

• Perform all full range preventative maintenance, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair duties on the Machines.
• Adjust, repair or replace defective parts, components or systems of the equipment.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure that it meets manufacturers specifications.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment

• Minimum of five years proven experience
• Minimum of OND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Trade Test Certificate.
• Ability to operate equipment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Strong Knowledge of Kalmar and other heavy-duty equipment.
• Superior troubleshooting skills
• Strong decision-making skills that promotes safe working conditions, timely/efficient repairs, and accurate accounting of labor and materials.
