Job Title: Sales Officer Location: Lagos Key Responsibilities
  • Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone
  • Making appointments with and meeting new customers
  • Agreeing sales, prices, contracts and payments
  • Meeting sales targets
  • Promoting new products and any special deals
  • Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service
  • Recording orders and sending details to the sales office
  • Giving feedback on sales trends
  • Visit potential customers for new business
  • Provide customers with quotations
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required
  • More than 3 years’ experience.
  • Progressive years in Marketing/Sales role is a huge plus

  Job Title: Sales Executive (Polymer) Location: Lagos Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new markets for the products
  • Identify future and current trends that appeal to consumers as regards the products
  • Manage, escalate and ensure resolution of customer queries.
  • Follow up and ensure timely payment of pending invoices within the agreed time frame.
  • Update sample and customer details on the market mapping data base for ease of administration.
  • Manage and Expand existing customers base for assigned location and environs.

Requirements

  • Coordinating procurement process with the Procurement Officer
  • Tracking of shipments and updating the current status (checking vessel status online, track the shipment with BL & container number(s))
  • Physically confirming the containers that have arrived, sharing the documents with QA & Stores Team, and updating the records accordingly
  • Following up with the Logistics Department for shipments under clearance
  • Working with the Finance Manager (Flexible) on the preparation of the monthly PSI
  • Monitoring the on-going shipments (at the port) and raw materials planned and update the General Manager (Flexible)
  • Getting quotations from forwarders for pick-up of Flexible items (plates, spares, etc.)
  • Signing of courier bills with the Head of Unit and General Manager
  • Supervising the Stores Officer (Maintenance) for monthly diesel reports and updating of the bin card/Orion for items received & issued within the maintenance store
  • Supervising spares stock count with the Stores Officer on a monthly basis and equally involved in the major quarterly stock count
  • Keeping track of ALL foreign purchases and their corresponding prices/quantities, etc.
  • Involved in the daily check of the spares bin card (by start of work and before the close of business)
  • Checking with the Logistics Department for status of submitted PFIs for Form Ms and LCs
  • Checking with the Procurement Officer for LPOs and updating the LPO status for materials supplied, part supplied, not yet supplied or not supplied at all
  • Sharing the daily report for plates, spares and raw materials
  • Sharing twice weekly the Form M/LC update
  • Sharing twice weekly the LPO Tracking sheet
  • Updating the Flexible loading sheet and sharing accordingly
  • Following up with vendors and suppliers As well as manage logistics
  • Generating an order confirmation for plates and spares and following up with the suppliers for updates and delivery of shipment to the concerned unit (QA, Maintenance, etc.).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry.
  • 4 to 5 years experience in similar position.

  • Sets up and operates one or more slide-forming machines to automatically punch, cut, and form metal strips wire by action of opposing rams to fabricate parts, like spring washers, brackets, and clips, specified by sketches, blueprints, and setup charts.
  • Selects cams, forming tools and dies according to setup charts.
  • Aligns & bolts specified cams to shaft, slides to bed and forming tools dies to slides using knowledge of machine operations, product dimensions, vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.
  • Readjusts machine to achieve specified product dimensions.
  • Starts machine observes operation periodically gauging parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Removes, replaces, and labels trays of finished parts when specified number have been produced.

  • Ability to operate blowing machine (slidel)
