We are in need of an Area Sales Manager (Lagos/West) for our Plastic Products.

Education / Experience / Technical & Soft Skills / General Requirements

BSc/HND in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with certifications/qualifications in Sales & Marketing-related disciplines
+7 years of experience, preferably in a Plastics Manufacturing company
B2B and B2C sales experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Good communication & organizational skills
Strong presentation and persuasion skills
Good negotiation skills.

Duties

Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.
Agree on and set targets for the Sales team
Provide leadership and enable the team to achieve its sales targets
Ensure the acquisition of new customers
Develop a long-term business relationships with customers, vendors, etc.
Understand the product capability so as to be able to pitch same suitable to the needs and requirements of potential customers
Co-ordinate with the Product development & Production teams to develop sample and quotations
Monitor and drive the sales in the assigned territories/regions.
