We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:
   
Job Title: Assistant Manager, Trade Development (Modern Trade) Location: Nigeria
The Job
  • Manage the company’s business in all national chain Modern Trade outlets in the territory.
  • Ensure monthly sales volume targets are achieved in each store.
  • Ensure pricing stickers are available on shelf for all SKUs and that products are correctly priced.
  • Manage orders for replenishment are placed in good time to avoid out of stocks.
  • Ensure new business in targeted local supermarkets which do not currently buy directly from FMN meet our selection criteria.
  • Manage all merchandisers deployed in existing national chain outlets and ensure that they are working according to the agreed procedures and delivering the results expected.
  • Ensure listed SKUs are available on-shelf at all times merchandised to the agreed planogrammes / shelf layouts.
  • Negotiate and start business relationship with identified outlets.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc / HND in any discipline
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG sales in Nigeria with a minimum of one year managing Modern Trade outlets in a similar role.
  • Good Understanding of Merchandising Techniques.
The Person Must:
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess Good Negotiation Skills
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills.
