We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Software Developer Location: Abuja

Job Description

Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test and debug programs to meet business needs and interact and sometimes direct third party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives.
Experienced software developer to be engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which includes: gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
Resolve complex technical design issues.
Integrate software components and third-party programs.
Verify and deploy programs and systems.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
Develop, test and implement new software programs.
Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces.
Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages.

Requirements / Qualifications

Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.
Experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages (e.g. JavaScript).
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate).
Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
Previous relevant experience as a Software Developer or similar position.
Understanding of modern software design principles such as MVC, DDD, SOA etc.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certification is an added advantage.
Must have C# knowledge and practical experience.
