Velox Integrated Rice Company (VIRCO) is an agribusiness firm focused on processing, packaging, and distribution of rice in Nigeria. Our passion lies in cheering the Nigerian community to eat locally-grown rice in a bid to eat fresh and healthy.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Officer Location: Abuja

Job Description

Increase customer base by providing new profitable customer.
Be up to date with industry, market trends and activities.
Develop new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Contributes to sales team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Determine & suggest price schedules and discount rates.

Requirements and Qualifications

Impeccable customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
Motivated, driven attitude.
Expert in time management.
Organized work ethic.
Proven track record in sales environment.
Ability to meet and/or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
Sales-driven, results-driven, and target-driven attitude.
Aptitude for persuasion and negotiation.

Nice To Have:

Bachelor's degree with at least three years sales experience.
Experience with a CRM platform (i.e. SalesForce) a plus.
