The Powerful Young Project Institute (PYP) is a social enterprise providing an education platform that trains, mentors and sponsors tuition of students. PYP is setting a foundation for problem solvers in the future through its 360Education curriculum which combines necessary school subjects with moral education, skill building and cognitive development.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Teacher / Tutor Location: Lagos

Requirements As a Teacher/Tutor at powerful young project you must fulfill the following Requirements:

You must be a teacher with verifiable teaching experience in chemistry,physics,biology,mathematics,Economics and other subjects for junior and secondary school.
You must be able and willing to handle all the Senior or junior secondary school subjects both Science and Arts.
You must be committed and willing to make a difference in your students academic history,you must be able to impact knowledge.
You must have excellent command of English.
You must be coordinated,empathic and of Verifiable Good reputation (No criminal record or history of child Abuse)
You must be experienced in preparing students for post secondary examination (WAEC,GCE,SAT,SSCE,JAMB,UTME,etc.)
You should have access to the Internet as we may be having lessons online,considering the current pandemic.
You must be grounded in and have sound knowledge of these subjects as we want our students to exceed academic expectations and be incomparable with their mates as it relates to academics.
You must be able to follow them up academically,ensure visible and measurable improvement in their academics,monitor their progress,encourage them to set and meet academic goals and supervise their commitment to learning

Qualification

NCE, BSC.

Experience:

2 years +(if you do not have up to 2 years verifiable experience in teaching the afore mentioned subjects,you need not apply because your application will not be considered)

Renumeration

NGN800 per hour.
