Nursing Supervisor Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Nursing Supervisor:

BSc or diploma in nursing
Previous working experience as a Nursing Supervisor for (x) year(s)
Any additional certification in healthcare administration will be considered an advantage
Valid nursing license
Great organizational and time management
Problem solver with a positive attitude
In-depth knowledge of hospital procedures
Outstanding patient management skills
Excellent communication and leadership skills
