Cysclofoss is seeking talented, creative graphic designers to join our Design team.
Job Position: Web / Graphic Designer

DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Web/Graphic designer to create compelling designs for our online platforms. The perfect candidate, in terms of skills, will be a graphic guru and front-end designer with at least little knowledge of back-end coding. We want someone whose forte is in design, but can also program or has little knowledge of how codes work, or who possesses the ability to learn back-end coding as needed.

The Role- The daily job function of this role is managing and administering an online project that deals on information dissemination using a blog format, so knowledge of Wordpress or Blogspot is essentail.
- The project will on daily basis deal on heavy graphics so knowledge of graphic editing software like Adobe Suite is required with keen eye for cutting edge imagery, layout, typography, color, and otherwise solid understanding of visual communication.
- The role may be required to develop website front-end designs and may also create visual media for posters, brochures, publications, web graphics, programs, plasma displays, etc.
ResponsibilitiesApart from the management of our Information dissemination blog, the role will also be responsible for design assets for different projects, which may include:
- Branding / Logo Design
- Package Design
- Typography & Editorial Design
- UI / UX Design (websites & mobile applications)
- Infographics
Required Skills:- Strong Internet presence and Social media news dissemination skills.
- Strong awareness to happenings around the world on Politics, Entertainment, Sports and other categories of information awareness.
- Video editing skills for Youtube upload required but not mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Flash desired.
- Must have solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and good understanding of current web technologies (html, CSS, JavaScript).
- Build passion, foster pride and develop positive team work within the organization
- Experience in strategic design solutions with an emphasis in multimedia/interactive design.
- Ability to apply creative and critical thinking throughout the design process.
- Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Suite, Internet, Photoshop.
- Experience using InDesign, Illustrator, Freehand, QuarkExpress will be an added advantage.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to multi-task.
- Strong attention to details in design and production.
- Ability to work closely with other team members.
- Strong design aesthetic and typography skills.
