Jobs

What was your last random act of kindness?

I understand you need a job and that's  most probably why you are on my blog.Let me ask you this very important question - What was your last random act of kindness?

When was the last time you helped someone carry groceries to their car, or just smiled at a stranger, or helped a friend pay his bills, or inform a friend about a job vacancy even help a friend apply for a job?
 The list is endless.

When did you last give something in spite of knowing that it’ll never be paid back?  Sincere kindness comes with a satisfying and fulfilling feeling that can keep you going even in your job search (whether unemployed or employed already).

I know we all need a good job, but what have we ever given.  Think about it.

Here a few examples of people's testimonies.

  1. A stranger in France donated her bone marrow to my then 6 year old son to save his life. We have never met.
  2. A homeless man waited in line at the clothing van and received a wonderful jacket. As he left he noticed a shivering woman, far back in the line. He stopped, gave her that wonderful jacket and went to the end of the line.
  3.  When my husband and I were both unemployed, we were really struggling, one month someone paid ALL of our bills, someone left $400 worth of groceries at our door and broke into our car and filled it up with gas. We still have no idea who it was, we were too prideful to tell anyone, not even our families knew how much we were struggling.
  4. I gave a homeless man my last dollar to buy a 99 cent Whopper and when I got on the bus with my pass I looked out the window and saw him sharing the Whopper with another homeless man.
Do they inspire you enough?  And what is the nicest thing you’ve ever seen a stranger do for someone else?  Drop your comments below.

If you are not giving enough today. Please give. Give. Give. It shall come back to you someday in any form. Trust me. What goes around does come around.
