We are currently diversifying and required to fill the vacant position below: Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician Location: Ogere, Ogun Job Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Chemists, the candidate will be responsible for;
• Assisting in performing laboratory testing of water samples to determine bacterial content or contamination before and after treatment in a water distribution and transmission system.
• Devising sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
• Planning, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
• Preserving workplace safety and safe materials handling as appropriate.
• Analysing samples either collected or provided using laboratory equipment to determine the physical, chemical and bacteriologic components.
• Assisting Chemists by performing other basic routine Laboratory tests and procedures which may include the double distillation water test, preparation of media etc.
• Collecting, test and analyse water and other related samples to determine the physical, chemical and bacteriologic components.
• Testing water samples from all phases of manufacturing with the goal of determining if the substance meets the Standards and requirements.
• Developing, recommending and monitoring corrective and preventive actions
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor.

• Extensive knowledge of water Chemistry
• Good knowledge of bacterial content analysis and testing procedures used in determining water quality.
• problem analysis and problem solving
• Ability to reorganize substandard samples
• Ability to understand and interpret laboratory test result
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment used in raw and potable water sampling.
• communication skills - verbal and written

• Must be a good team Player.

• The Candidate is required to possess OND in SLT/Food Science & Technology or equivalent field from an accredited Polytechnic
• Male Preferably
• Must not be older than 30 years.
• Minimum of 2 years cognate experience in the water/beverage industry is required.
