• Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash and store or other payment options such as credit cards.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer purchases and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing laid-down tasks and results as required.
• Management of inventories and stock levels
• Welcomes customers into the store and offering them assistance.
• Assists customers by directing and escorting them to racks and counters while suggesting items.
• Provides useful information on displayed products to aid the buying decision
• Helps customer make selections by stimulating customer interest and offering suggestions and opinions.
• Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
