  • A Certified mobile crane personnel to train student for an international mobile crane operation examination.
Qualifications
  • Proficient working knowledge of office IT systems.
  • Familiarity with Instructor / Assessor techniques and qualifications.
  • Qualifications and background experience of practical training.
  • Valid Mobile Crane certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across a wide variety of people e.g. staff, clients, delegates.
Requirements:
  • Ensures all aspects of training / assessment assignments are fully checked.
  • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of current HSE legislation and procedures.
  • Develops and updates training materials.
  • Flexible to undertake additional duties commensurate with overall responsibilities of the job, and that are within their competence.
  • Previous experience training crane operators of various nationalities would be ideal.
  • Any previous experience working in Africa would be an advantage.
  • The role provides instruction, demonstration and examination / assessment of individuals / groups for specified course programmes and timetables.

  • A certified Rigger to train and prepare student for an international rigger certification.
Requirements
  • Possess (es) a recognized degree, certificate, or professional standing, or (has) extensive knowledge, training, and experience.
  • Successfully demonstrate(s) the ability to solve problems related to rigging loads.
  • Know and understand the type of signals used. If hand signals are used, the signal person must know and understand the Standard Method for hand signals.
  • Be competent in the application of the type of signals used.
  • Have a basic understanding of equipment operation and limitations, including the crane dynamics involved in swinging and stopping loads and boom deflection from hoisting loads.
  • Any previous experience working in Africa would be an advantage.
