Mastercrest is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:     Job Title: Collections Agent Location: Lagos Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for reaching out to customers to collect payment for overdue loans, or other payments by Acting as the liaison between creditors and customers and manages overdue accounts.
  • To manage and be responsible for the recovery of overdue payments from customers.
  • Persuade customers to pay amounts due using available repayment methods.
  • Record customers repayment status and other useful information as required.
  • Responsible for initiating calls with delinquent customers through phone calls to collect payments and settle accounts.
  • Follows-up delinquent accounts, updates and maintains accurate records.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
Requirements
  • Target Driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
  • Active Listener
  • Being Persuasive to get commitment from the debtors.
  • Level Education: HND or BSC.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • A good negotiator
  • Solid team player who thrives on working in a fast paced environment.
