Job Role
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and in-charging clients’ projects/engagements, providing leadership to the team and also providing support to project team members.
Job Responsibilities
  • Primarily responsible for security event monitoring, management and response
  • Real-time monitoring of third party security feeds, forums, and mailing lists to gather information on vulnerabilities and exploits related to the client
  • Assessing each event based on factual information and wider contextual information available
  • Producing intelligence outputs to provide an accurate depiction of the current threat landscape and associated risk through the use of customer, community, and open source reporting;
  • Produce actionable intelligence information for delivery to colleagues and customers in the form of technical reports, briefings, and data feeds;
  • A senior escalation point within the security team, will mentor and train junior analysts
  • Meet with business users to gather requirements and make recommendations for meeting customer requirements
  • Analysing new technologies and making security recommendations based on business objectives
  • Installation, customization and use of SIEM and other security tools
  • Review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAs
  • Ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives
  • Consistent review and update of threat profiles, models and vectors from a global scale and develop use cases for security tracking and monitoring

Qualifications and Specifications Required
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc., B.A., etc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of second class upper/upper credit
  • Have a minimum of credit in six WASSCE/GCE/NECO Ordinary Level subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only

  • The role is for a Deloitte Independent Facilitator who will take on responsibilities as a LGA Facilitator for the UNICEF WASH Programme in Abuja.
  • The WASH State Supervisor will assist the implementation of the UNICEF WASH programme with particular focus on WASH in the respective State.
  • The facilitator will specifically support the UNICEF Field Office WASH Staff in the attainment of State level results planned under various projects funded by various donors (EU, DFID, etc.) for the specified state.
Job Responsibilities
  • Explore the supply chain options to support the VLOM concept.
  • Any other relevant assignment that the supervisor may give to help achieve the planned WASH results in each of the project states.
  • Support the operationalization of the National Strategy for the implementation of Village Level Operation and Maintenance (VLOM) of rural water supplies.
  • Support finalization of the community management models and document success stories on the piloting.
  • Support capacity building of state, LGA and community level actors in operationalizing the VLOM.
  • Supervise the implementation of VLOM and document evidence-based achievements.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in village level operation and maintenance including handpump installation, operation and maintenance.
  • Experience in community management models and handpump spare parts supply chains.
  • Good communications and writing skills in English; Excellent presentation skills, both in terms of written and oral communication; ability to work in a multi-cultural environment; Passion and commitment to UNICEF missions and professional values.
  • Willingness to travel to rural and semi-urban areas of the country.
  • University Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering: Water Supply and Sanitation, Hydrology/Geology and Public Health.
  • Proficient in English.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in programme planning, implementation and monitoring in water and sanitation sector.
