We help them to identify and engage in opportunities, effectively and sustainably delivering on them, while aggregating individual and value chain level data to provide situational awareness to participants in the agricultural value chain.   • Agromall would love you to join our team of unique, friendly, original and ruggedly creative people for the position of Technology Project Manager
  • This role will assist in managing all Agromall technical projects and related issues. Providing technology support for the business, driving technology project plan, development, implementation and utilization.
Principal Responsibilities Operational and Technical Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of critical Technology project processes, including: Project prioritization, Reporting and got-to market strategy and execution.
  • Identify, research, evaluate and recommend projects that optimize the performance and outcomes of the technology department
  • Identify technical risk and proffer solutions
  • Strong project management where you will set timelines, goals, deliverables, and execute accordingly along with a solid communication strategy and plan.
  • Lead Software development both in-house and offshore as well as integration to third party platforms
  • Evaluate processes used across the Technology department and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
  • Interface with foreign technical partners and developers on technical developments and Integrations
  • Coordinate and perform UAT of new application/solutions before go-live
  • Create compelling user interfaces and experiences
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Leadership Accountabilities:
  • Manage and supervise in house and offshore software developers, Database Administrators
  • Monitor KPIs and technology budgets to assess technological performance
Relationship Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with department heads as advisor of company IT Projects
  • Build and lead impactful relationships with cross-functional team members including the leadership team
Management Accountabilities:
  • Drive company revenue by efficiently managing and timely delivery of company technical projects
Innovation Accountabilities:
  • Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary technical improvements and adjustments
  • Study current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development
Education, Technical Skills, Competencies, Working Relationships Education:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, electronic engineering or related field.
  • Master’s Degree and relevant certification will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Software development, IT Projects in the financial technology or agricultural Technology Space
Technical Skills:
  • Application Development, Support and Maintenance: Knowledge and ability to design, define, construct, develop, enhance, support and maintain application software on one or more platforms including web and mobile
  • Database Design and Management: Knowledge and ability to apply the methods, practices and policies that are used in the design and the management of databases.
  • IT Infrastructure/ Platforms: Knowledge and ability to support the enterprise computing infrastructure (e.g., enterprise servers, client server, storage devices and systems, hardware and software) in the provision, management, storage, operation, scheduling, support and maintenance of the infrastructure
  • IT Project Management: Knowledge and ability to apply formal project management principles and practices during the planning, implementation, monitoring and completion of projects, ensuring effective management of scope, resources, time, cost, quality, risk and communications
  • Security, Information and Application Protection: Knowledge and ability to ensure there are adequate technical and organizational safeguards to protect the continuity of IT infrastructure services by implementing IT security principles, methods, practices, policies and tool.
