First Excelsia Professional Services - Our client, a fast expanding Farm is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the position stated below:

Job Title: Internal Control Manager Location: Osun Duties and Responsibilities

Develop policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor compliance.
Carry out control functions, reviews and approve disbursements requests and other requests.
Monitor and provide advice to management to minimize risk resulting from poor controls
Conduct audit testing of potential risk areas and identify reportable issues
Conduct regular audits to verify whether departments follow the established procedures and processes also develop policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor compliance
Review existing accounting and financial controls and other legal compliance processes in place and make any necessary revisions or additions

Requirements The ideal candidate must satisfy the following:

Minimum of 5 years professional work experience out of which 3 years should be in the agricultural sector.
Candidate must be willing to relocate or stay in Osun state
A first degree in Accounting or Agricultural related field
Membership of an accounting professional body will be an added advantage
Must have practical experience in agro-business development and management of agriculture focused projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, such as Word and Excel, is required and ability to use tools to compile reports.
