We are recruiting to fill the position below:       Job Title: French Teacher (Primary) Location: Abuja Overview of the Role

• Responsible for giving clear directions to the students so as to make them proficient in writing, verbalizing, interpreting, and reading the French language; also responsible for language classes and accountable for a successful personal development and exam success.

• HND/B.Sc./BA in French or Education is required
• Professional certification in French Language
• Recognized appropriate teaching qualification or experience; at least 3 years’ experience as a French Teacher
• Desirable: Experience of British curriculum and teaching
• Fluency in the French language and good knowledge of grammar

• Primary Teachers are responsible for providing clear directions to students and the general classroom management and standard operational procedure.

• Primary Teachers: Bachelor’s Degree and a recognized teaching certification.
• Applicants should have at least 2 years’ work experience in teaching or education; experience in British curriculum is desirable.
• Effective use of basic technology- computer, photocopier etc; Effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel and any other appropriate software.

• The Art teacher is responsible for teaching and using classroom management strategies to motivate pupils through teaching knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering and art history.

• B.Art qualification is required or its equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in a primary school; 2 of which must have been an international school.
• Strong command of English, eloquent and must have good inter-personal skills
• Proven track record with an Art curriculum area
• Ability to work effectively and communicate distinctively with children
• Ability to provide instruction by which students develop aesthetic concepts and appreciations and the ability to make qualitative judgments about art.
• Ablility to instruct students in proper are and use of tools and equipment.
• Strong ambition, drive and outstanding classroom practitioner with clear understanding of teaching and learning
• Strong passion for teaching and learning Art.
