If you're passionate about Recruitment and HR, I would advise caution before considering a role with HR and Its People. Despite being a remote opportunity, the work culture can feel extremely toxic and unsupportive. The owner, Chioma St. Gabriel, often enforces rigid and unpredictable policies that can affect compensation—such as sudden changes that reduce or remove bonuses for successful hires.
While some of us joined for the love of the profession, the environment made it difficult to stay motivated. Constructive feedback or open communication is generally not encouraged, and expressing concerns can lead to friction. If you do choose to work with the organization, it's important to stay cautious, document your work, and manage expectations carefully.
