Job Title: Fibre-Optic Project Rollout Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects, execute processes, and ensure successful project completion.
• Development of the project execution plan.
• Assisting with scheduling project tasks and keeping the project deliverables up to date with accurate information.
• Work with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Create responses to competing priorities.
• Support all levels of the organization by generating and analysing program/project data using standard reporting tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables and be accountable for standardizing reporting formats and statistical analysis methodologies.

Qualification / Skill Required

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or other related disciplines. A Postgraduate Degree or professional certification in Telecommunication or Engineering Field will be an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in OSP / ELP.
• Hands-on experience on OTDR / LS-PM / DWDM equipment.
• Should have an understanding of SDH / PDH / WDM, technology.
• Must be prepared to work in any part of Nigeria.
• Minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience with at least 3 years in Optic Fibre project Rollout or relevant practices
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a Must
