BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
Under
the supervision of the Public Affairs Officer (PAO), the incumbent
identifies vets, administers, manages monitors, closes out, assesses
effectiveness of, and generates grant programs funded by CVE monies.
Target audiences are largely youth, interfaith, and vulnerable
communities. She/he conducts grant writing and grants management
workshops for potential grantees; tracks CVE funding streams,
coordinating with the Financial Management Office, Public Affairs
Section budget specialist, and program offices in Washington; convenes
quarterly meetings with donors and other stakeholders to organize forums
and coordinate programming efforts.
