Job Title: Corporate Services Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Provide prompt and relevant advisory services to management on legal and compliance matters including advice on new developments in the legal environment which may affect the company's interests, operations and conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements including maintenance / update of all statutory books and registers and prompt filing of statutory returns as well as support the Company Secretary for Board and Committee meetings
  • Ensure contracts are in place for all business relationships and negotiate, draft and review all contracts / complex commercial agreements, evaluating business risks and make recommendations on how to prevent / mitigate such risks and manage the Contracts database for the company
  • Ensure all invoices to Clients / Customers for real estate transactions (Sale of Apartments, rental of apartments, space rental, leases, Service Charge, VAT, etc) are prepared and submitted to clients promptly and that all Receivables are legally enforceable for all transactions
  • Vigorously pursue collection of debts that are overdue from clients/customers.
  • Establish and maintain an organized filing system for the proper filing and easy retrieval of all legal documents - title documents, agreements, certificates, letters etc
  • Manage relationships with the company's external solicitors and provide oversight for all outsourced legal and secretarial services, oversee and advance the company's position in negotiated settlements with external parties and follow up on-going litigations
  • Provide legal support and promote corporate ethics and compliance and train all employees in this regard to promote a culture of higher performance across the organization.
  • Provide oversight on ensuring prompt settlement of rents, rates and land charges as well as government revenue demands such as property tenement rates, ground rents, business premises permits etc
  • Safeguard the Company's records by ensuring centralised filing and effective archive management.
  • Handle immigration and expatriate issues with regulatory agencies

Requisite Qualifications / Experience

  • LLB Degree (1st Class or 2nd Class Upper) in Law.
  • Member, Nigerian Bar Association.
  • Accreditation by the Corporate Affairs Commission.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar position.

Job Title: Chief Security Officer (CSO)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary
The Chief Security Officer is responsible for the following:

  • Overall security and protection of the company facilities, hotel premises, properties, guests and employees.
  • Implementation of the company’s policies and procedures on security matters.
  • Organizing the security unit to fulfil the requirements for security and conflict management.
  • Provide information and advice to management on all security related matters and coordination with the facility management department on fire and emergency issues.
  • Liaison and maintenance of good relationship with relevant law enforcement and security authorities.

Requisite Qualifications / Experience

  • BA (Hons) or B.sc preferably from the Nigerian Defence Academy.
  • Advanced Diploma in Security and Conflict Management.
  • Minimum of 20 years’ experience in security and conflict management.
  • Must have worked in an embassy or Multinational organisations such as NGOs, etc.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting To: Facility and Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

  • Coordination of in-house technical crew to provide optimal customer service, with flawless execution, to ensure uninterrupted operations in the building.
  • Coordination and monitoring of 3rd – party providers of technical services (Vendors) to ensure uninterrupted operations in the building.
  • Coordinating and controlling a comprehensive, preventive and routine maintenance program for the building and equipment for efficient operations and cost control.
  • Coordinating and providing routine preventive all year round maintenance program for the building.
  • Ensuring regular and uninterrupted supply of utilities and coordinating effective energy conservation for the smooth running of operations in the building.
  • Coordinating and providing maintenance program, diagnosing and effecting prompt repairs for unplanned breakdown problems for the following equipment:
    • Generators
    • Air - conditioners
    • Elevators
    • Monorail cradle
    • Swimming pool equipment
    • Borehole, Water treatment and purification plant
    • Industrial Boiler
    • Sewage Treatment Plant
    • Electrical Systems
    • Electrical installation( including light fixtures and socket replacement and repair)
    • Laundry Equipment
    • Recreation Equipment

Requisite Qualifications / Experience

  • B.Sc (1st Class or 2nd Class Upper) in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar position.
  • Knowledge of all federal, state, and local standards and ordinances pertinent to building maintenance.

Job Summary

  • Maintaining accounting records of the Company's Financial transactions
  • Preparation of the Company's Financial Statements and Management Reports for review of Financial performance
  • Protecting the Company's margins and maximizing income.
  • Monitoring of Trade Receivables and follow up of collections for improvement of the company's Cash flow.
  • Maintaining adequate records and ensuring prompt recovery of all reimbursable expenses.
  • Performing administrative role for the company's enterprise wide accounting and reporting software and ensuring adherence to controls.

Requisite Qualifications / Experience

  • B.Sc. (1st or 2nd Class Upper) in Social Sciences or Management.
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Management and Financial Accounting.
  • Proficiency in the use of Enterprise wide Accounting Application.
