We're recruiting for the following position:

 

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Ketu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time (Hybrid)

 Job Summary:

  •  In your role, you are to oversee the efficient transportation, inventory management, and distribution of  pharmaceutical and health-care products, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining data accuracy of all deliveries made, accurate logistic data, any other task as may be assigned, optimizing logistics operations in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan,coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of medications and health-care  products.
  • Liaise with vendors, and dispatch riders to streamline supply chain activities.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical storage and transportation regulations, including temperature control and handling of sensitive products.
  • Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements, purchase orders, and logistics-related documents.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Support the Sales team in procurement and order fulfillment tasks.
  • Reports directly to the Sales Director.
  • Propose and implement process improvements within the order fulfillment chain.
  • Ensure that the decision-making process in procurement is data-driven and efficient.
  • Proactively identify and address any potential bottlenecks or disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Weekly reporting of all deliveries fulfilled within the week and a monthly report on the 1st day of each new month.

 Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or health-care sector.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, and distribution best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
