We are recruiting to fill the positions below:       Job Title: Team Lead, Dispute Resolution Location: Lagos Summary

• The role will be responsible for resolving all dispute issues received via DMS or from Card scheme and all card & channels related customer complaints  while ensuring no financial loss due to any misjudgement of disputed cases
• The role will also provide leadership for the team and maintain good working relationships with other business units,  strategic partners (Visa, MasterCard etc) and financial institutions (Banks) to efficiently manage service issues.

Responsibilities The position will be charged but not limited with the following responsibilities:

• Support each bank E-business team in resolving dispute related issues
• Attend to all queries from clients on dispute issues and ensure they are resolved promptly
• Ensure all claims logged on dispute resolutions systems against ARCA’s clients are promptly attended to, to guide against financial loss.
• Maintain customer service standards to retain cardholder base by ensuring service provided is appropriate and taking prompt action to rectify problems/queries
• Develop and maintain business relations with the charge-back team at NIBBS, value card (visa, MasterCard etc), Unified Payments, Interswitch and ARCA settlement banks
• Ensure that all processed transactions are reviewed for completeness, accuracy and validity
• Be vigilant to identify high risk areas and suggest necessary controls where possible
• Ensure all inquiries and complaints relating to card and channel transactions are responded to within defined SLAs time frame to guide against customers dissatisfaction.
• Ensure settlement figures are processed and validated for all Charge-back transactions done via ATM, POS and WEB
• Ensure that all processed transactions are reviewed for completeness, accuracy and validity to guide against errors
• Provide leadership to the dispute resolution team
• Perform any other task as might be assigned by the department
• Ensure submission of volume statistics report and any other report as may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) preferably in Accounting or other discipline in Social Sciences from a recognized University
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in cards/mobile/payment finance, fully integrated in all aspects of settlement and daily reconciliation process
• Detailed understanding of the operational aspects of payment cards, mobile payments and banking industry.
• Previous experience with Dispute resolution
• Must be articulate and possess the ability to communicate with patience and empathy

• The Team Lead, Reconciliation and Settlement will be responsible for the reconciliation and settlement activities within the organization;
• Facilitate complete and accurate processing of settlement figures for all transactions/products by ensuring that required due diligence is performed
• Responds to disputes and ensure that all assigned reports are accurately and timely reconciled to show a true and fair view of processed transaction with partner organizations including banks, payment processing networks, and service providers.

The position will be charged but not limited with the following responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliation for banks and provide report to Head, reconciliation and settlement
• Support each bank E-business team in resolving settlement and reconciliation issues
• Attend to all queries from clients on payments and ensure they are resolved promptly
• Liaise with Bank Settlement team to ensure reconciled funds are transferred to ARCA account
• Contribute to and maintain system standards within the ARCA payment service
• Carry out income/fees reconciliation with Settlement banks, NIBSS and other clients and ensuring value is transferred to ARCA’s account promptl
• Perform daily/weekly analysis of bill payment data: Trends, failure rates etc and extract Business Intelligence from payment data
• Develop and maintain business relations with NIBBS, value card (visa, MasterCard etc), unified payments, Interswitch and ARCA settlement banks
• Ensure daily reconciliation of and correct postings of all cards and other electronic channels transactions
• Verify the incoming and outgoing payment reports
• Liaise with Bank reconciliation team to ensure reconciled funds are transferred to ARCA account
• Provide supervision to the team
• Perform any other task as might be assigned by the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in or higher preferably in Accounting or other discipline in Social Sciences from a recognized University.

• Full stack developer handling both design (UI/UX) and code development for applications for devices powered by Android operating system.

Key Responsibilities The position will be charged but not limited with the following responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for Android platform
• Manage the full technical life-cycle of Android applications during each development phase.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm about new products, provide each other with technical insight and review working drafts.
• Document and maintain design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications and ideas.
• Work with product managers, clients and sales teams to assess customer demand and usability of new applications.
• Perform individual project components within the entire development lifecycle including implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Work from UI/UX requirements, APIs, mockups to build functional, high-performance Android phone and tablet apps.
• Diagnose performance issues, fix bugs to increase the functionality of new applications.
• Understand the nuances of fragments and Android XML layouts, and how to create adaptive interfaces that work for multiple device form factors
• Obtain buy-in from leadership to secure resources for app development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer/System/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering/ Applied physics/ Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development and
• Have published at least one original Android app
• Experience in Android Studio
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON, third party libraries and APIs
• Understand Android UI/UX design
• Solid understanding of full mobile development life cycle with agile development framework
• Excellent documentation skills and use of collaboration tools.
• Understanding of Agile development methodology
• Experience in the payment/ finance industry
