Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Nigeria Job Description

Install, support and maintain new server Hardware and Software Infrastructure
Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access
Report network operational status
Provide training and technical support for users with varying level of IT knowledge/competence
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organisations.
Ensure all IT equipment complies with Organisation’s Standards
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, schedule updates and collaborating with network architects on network optimization

Determines operational feasibility by evaluating, analysis, problem definition, listing requirements and development of proposed solutions.
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts and codes.
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information from vendors; recommending purchases, testing and approving products.
