Interaction Designer Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of an Interaction Designer:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or similar relevant education
x years of experience in interactive product design
Current and relevant experience with trends affecting digital interactive product design
Understanding HTML, XML, CSS, ActionScript, JavaScript, Webkit and CMS systems
Working knowledge of the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite and Axure
Ability to illustrate and prototype concepts quickly
Strong communication & client facing skills
