We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: IKeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Office of the MD
Reports to: Managing Director

Role / Responsibility
Financial Management:

• Manage cash controls and maintain book-keeping up-to-date.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Setting up and updating payments records.
• Meets departmental financial objectives and goals
• Ensures that sound financial management of products are being followed.
• Manage petty cash expenses and records.
• Prepare requisition and retirement of funds as approved.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Must be highly skilled Accounting softwares (Particularly QuickBooks).
• Must hold a Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting.
• Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills.
• 1-2 years Experience.

Abilities and Attributes:

• Must be highly skilled in MS Office (Particularly Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and successfully meet deadlines.
• Must be able and willing to carry out duties and responsibilities of an assistant to the MD
• Flexible, creative, manages own time, and well organized.
• Must be pro‐active in identifying and proposing solutions, with the ability to exercise sound judgment in all matters.
• Must be accurate and highly detail‐oriented with follow‐through skills.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to analyze and review financial data such as reports, income statements and perform cost analyses. Must be accurate in mathematical computations.

Physical Demands:

• Approximately 40% of the position involves performing the role of an assistant
• Moderate face‐to‐face and digital interactions with superior. Must speak clearly and articulate with extreme accuracy to provide directions, talk on the phone, etc.
• Moderate use of telephone, walking, and executing.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Work Environment:

• Must be flexible and willing to perform duties as assigned.

Salary
N60,000 / month.
