Workforce Management Centre (WFMC) - Our Client, a foremost Automotive Company, is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:


Job Title: Account Receivables/Payables Accountant
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract (3 - 6 months)
Responsibilities

• Reconcile the AR/AP accounts.
• Effective follow through with business units.
• Produce quality AR/AP management information to guide decision making.
• Assess and recommend provisions for doubtful debts/write offs with good justifications.
• Clear outstanding aged open items.
• Drive/pursue cash collections from customers.
• Recommend/drive implement agreed process changes.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (preferably).
• Knowledge of finance systems (Rascal) - advantage.
• MS Office (excel, word) working knowledge - required.
• Able to communicate on different levels of the organization.
• Able to work in a multi-cultural, international environment.
• Minimum of 4 years Accounting experience.
• Deep understanding of Accounts Payable / Receivables.
• Conversant with Accounting ERP (SAP; SAGE or similar ERPs).
