Job Title: Auto Electrician

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a Skilled Auto Electrician to work in our busy automobile repair & maintenance center. Your duties will include installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment for vehicles.
• To ensure success in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems, have a good eye for detail, and be able to problem-solve complex electrical problems.

Responsibilities
You will have the following responsibilities but are not limited to:

• Installing new vehicle wiring systems.
• Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.
• Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
• Servicing electrical automotive parts.
• Maintaining a clean working environment.
• Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems.
• Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical systems.
• Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
• Communicating clearly and concisely to customers.
• Completing job reports.

Requirements and Skills

• OND / B.Sc / Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
• Excellent physical condition.
• Good critical reasoning abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Ability to handle various tools.

Salary
N70,000 - N120,000 monthly.
