Biometric Supervisor at Gombe State Civil Service Commission

Gombe State Civil Service Commission established by law in 2005 and amended in 2011 was constituted with the sole responsibility of recruitment, promotion, and discipline of teachers on the recommendation of the Civil Service Commission. The Commission also compiles and updates Civil Service records of service with regard to retirement, withdrawal, resignation, conversion and transfer of service within and outside LGAs and State.

The Commission which is composed of the chairman, four full-time members, has the Permanent Secretary which serve as its secretary and accounting officer. It also has three key directors namely:- Director Recruitment, Director Planning Research & Statistics and Director Admin and Finance.The current members of the Commission were appointed on the 21st April, 2020 and they have swing into action immediately upon appointment.

In accordance with the reform policies of the administration of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Gombe State, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (Dan Majen Gombe), the Committee for the Enrolment of Biometric Supervisors invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position below:

Eligibility
A suitable applicant should:

Possess at least a First Degree, HND or its equivalents. Possess NYSC Discharge Certificate.
Be an indigene of Gombe State.
Be of sound and trustworthy character.
Be willing to fully dedicate yourself to the assignment.
Have a working knowledge of using a computer including:
- Basic file operations.
- Basic Word processing.
- Basic spreadsheet operations.
Be physically resident within the assigned ward.
Possess all the following hardware:
- Android device (phone or tablet).
- USB flash drive.
- OTG Connector.
Be trainable on unfamiliar electronic devices.
Not be a current employee of the government or any scheduled organization.
