Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Telemarketer to join our dynamic team.
The Telemarketer will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers, pitching products or services, generating leads, and achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to prospective customers using a provided call list or database.
Pitch products or services to potential customers and effectively communicate their features and benefits.
Generate leads and qualify prospects through engaging conversations and active listening.
Overcome objections and address concerns to close sales and achieve sales targets.
Follow-up with leads generated through previous interactions or marketing campaigns to nurture them through the sales process.
Collaborate with team members and sales managers to optimize sales strategies and achieve team goals.
Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to enhance the company's reputation and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including contact details, preferences, and outcomes.
Continuously develop product knowledge and sales techniques through training and self-study to enhance performance and results.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Proven experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service roles is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and articulate phone manner.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers over the phone.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining customer records and following compliance regulations.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
Positive attitude, resilience, and determination to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
Must reside within Lekki and its environs.
Persuasive personality with the ability to effectively pitch products and overcome objections.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
