Brand and Communications Executive at Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators

CIArb is an international centre of excellence for the practice and profession of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Our growing membership of 14,000 is based across 133 countries and supported by an international network of 37 branches. The Institute provides education and training for arbitrators, mediators and adjudicators. It also acts as a global hub for practitioners, policy makers, academics and those in business, supporting the global promotion, facilitation and development of all ADR methods.

Job Title: Brand and Communications Executive

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The Brand and Communications Executive will develop communications strategies to enhance NICArb’s brand image, customer engagement, and business objectives in both digital and traditional media.
• The executive will also ensure consistency in messaging across all channels and manage the Institute's digital presence.
• This role involves creating compelling content, building brand awareness, and promoting events and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with NICArb’s brand identity and organizational goals.
• Manage daily operations across all social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn,
• Facebook, YouTube and others).
• Create engaging and informative content (text, image, video, graphics) tailored to each platform.
• Stay updated with social media trends, best practices, tools, and industry developments.
• Manage paid social media advertising campaigns.
• Ensure brand consistency offline and online.
• Support live coverage of events through social media (live tweeting, stories, real- time posting).
• Assist with email marketing and newsletter content development.
• Maintain and coordinate media relations with relevant stakeholders
• Undertake creative initiatives to continually and grow the NICArb brand
• Collaborate with the “Training, Membership & ADR Centre teams” to promote training programmes, webinars, events, publications, and membership recruitments.
• Schedule and publish posts using content calendars and scheduling tools.
• Monitor, track, and provide performance analytics.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Mass Communication, Marketing & Digital Media.
• Strong writing, editing, video editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to create visually appealing content using relevant tools.
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
• A passion for communications, branding, digital trends, and the ADR/legal space is advantageous.
