Job Title: Profit Center Manager (Personal Banking)

Location: Abuja / Lagos / Enugu / Rivers / Abia / Oyo / Ogun

Job Objective

  • To coordinate the activities of retail teams through effective relationship management to meet/surpass financial targets to drive the profit growth of the branch.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure significant increase in market share within own region.
  • Drive performance of the unit – liability generation and quality risk asset creation.
  • Risk asset appraisal, disbursement and monitoring.
  • Ensure effective relationship building and management with new and existing customers.
  • Optimally exploit new and existing opportunities in the market.
  • Drive the reactivation of all in active/dormant accounts in the branch.
  • Plan and implement marketing strategies to boost profit
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of account officers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Business Manager.

Candidate's Profile

  • We are looking to hire talented and experienced individuals to drive Personal Banking/ SME as Profit Centre Managers.
  • The ideal candidates must be based in either Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, Rivers, Abia, Oyo and Ogun and must currently work in a commercial bank as marketers for personal banking with 5 years’ experience.

Knowledge Required:

  • Basic knowledge of Accounting, Finance and Economics.
  • Banking operations, policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of the Bank’s products and services.
  • Business development and acquisition.
  • Marketing, Selling and Cros.

Skills Required:

Job Title: Relationship Officer (Commercial)

Location: Abuja / Lagos / Oyo / Ogun / Enugu / Rivers

Job Objective

  • To establish and maintain positive customer relationships towards the growth revenue for the bank.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Approach customers with the aim of winning new business.
  • Meet with existing customers to strengthen business relationships with a view to increase financial growth of the bank.
  • Aggressively market the bank’s products to ensure favorable market response and optimum build-up of revenue.
  • Follow up customers with dormant accounts, convince to resume dealings with the bank.
  • Implement marketing strategies / programs laid out by the bank to boost profit.
  • Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.
  • Achieve set deposit targets / Contributions by acquiring business / investment deals from Private, Public, Individuals and Corporates.
  • Prepare documentation on the creation of risk assets to increase business office profitability.
  • Sell / Cross-sell and Upsell the banks products.

Candidate's Profile

  • We are looking to hire talented and experienced individuals with 2 - 7 years Relationship Management experience in a commercial bank.
  • The ideal candidates must reside in either Lagos, Abuja, Oyo, Ogun, Enugu, and Rivers State and must currently work as Relationship Managers.

Knowledge Required:

  • Good Knowledge of the products and services of the bank.

Job Title: Regional Control Officer

Location: Nigeria

Job Objective

  • To ensure the business office operations are in line with the Bank’s internal policies, and regulatory policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist business offices with compliance and regulatory issues, and provide counseling when required.
  • Improve control and awareness culture in the business offices.
  • Ensure that the ambience of the business office is maintained and kept customer friendly at all times.
  • Monitor and ensure that open items in the GL accounts are current and reflect the true nature of the products recorded in them.
  • Ensure integrity of transactions in Business offices, and report deviations/anomalies immediately.
  • Identify control lapses/policy breaches through control activities for process improvement/policy amendments.
  • Escalate cases of fraud, customer complaints, and staff disciplinary issues to the Area control manager, or responsible department.

Candidate's Profile

  • Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in banking operations, or in a control related role.

Knowledge Required:

Job Title: Agency Banking Partner

Location: Nigeria

Job Objective

  • The role objective is to provide adequate guidance on Agency Banking for market facing staff (DSEs/PCMs, etc.) with a view to maximizing returns on performance.

Roles & Responsibilities
Product Design & Management:

  • Determine and analyse market requirements for specific product. 
  • Own and manage product within different industry as may obtain, and ensure  maximum return is achieved. 
  • Present market trends and gather reliable/accurate market intelligence to ensure development of relevant product. 
  • Provide adequate guidance for product by actively managing the product lifecycle with a view to maximizing returns. 
  • Report on product performance against targets with action plan 
  • Recommend changes to existing products to meet market requirements. 
  • Present market trends within portfolio and competitor market trend. 
  • Assist in the execution & deployment of product requirements such as segment/the agent needs, high-level product characteristics etc. 

Partnership Management:  

  • Responsible for recruitment of value adding Super Agents/Agents that will enhance segment performance 
  • Maintain up to date regular documentation (Service Level Agreements SLA, correspondences etc.) for all Super agents and Agent Network Managers
  • Ensure resolution of Super agents/agents related complaints. 
  • Obtains and maintains regular market data related to Agents’ relationships. 
  • Responsible for driving Agent/Super agent’s activities
  • Management of Branding of Agent locations, marketing support and collateral
  • Pre- qualification assessment for POS deployment for Agents/Super Agents
  • Review and engagement of Agents on performance
  • Training of Agents and Super Agents
  • Deployment and Monitoring of BVN machines
  • Effective expense management of areas under their supervision

Engagement with Branches, Retail Analysts & Digital Sales Managers:

  • Coordinates the required engagement with Risk Management and Compliance unit to monitor and ensure applicable offerings follow the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaises with Customer Fulfilment Centre & Customer experience to understand the major complaints and concerns of the customers as it obtains specific propositions and work with applicable stakeholders for a lasting resolution.

Candidate's Profile

  • We are searching for a performance-driven individual who will have the overall responsibility to deliver compelling value and experiences to their agents, active agent rate and to ensure profitability of the agents & segment.
  • S/he will work with multiple stakeholders across the Bank & other external parties to deliver this value.
  • The Candidate must be computer literate with high proficiency level in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation skills. 
  • Own and manage product within assigned region.

Knowledge Required:

  • Sound knowledge of business and management principles. 
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the policies and procedures applied within the Industry and the effect and impact on business.
