PEPHLA Wholesale Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Centre are focused on providing laboratory tests, drug products and medical devices of the highest quality, safety, efficacy, and outstanding services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Ada-George Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Employment Type: Part-time
Work Hour: 14 hours per week, 7 days a week.

Job Description

• The cleaner role presents an opportunity to join PEPHLA Laboratory Centre, where knowledge, experience, and skills are rewarded.

Responsibilities

• To perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and hygienic medical laboratory center. This includes sweeping, mopping, wipe, sanitizing, dusting, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and furniture.
• To follow all safety protocols rules and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents and ensure personal and environmental safety.
• To report maintenance or repair issues for repairs/replacement.
• To collect and dispose waste materials, garbage, and recyclables according to standards.
• To clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and mirrors. windows, and glass surfaces to ensure infection free medical laboratory centre.
• To follow procedures and guidelines of the medical laboratory centre.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• To perform manual tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies.
• To have a good communication skill.
• To be trustworthy with respectful behavior.
• Must be confidential with sensitive information.
• To manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• To be punctual and reliable.

Salary
N35,000 - N45,000 monthly depending on experience and skills.
