Job Title: Cost Control Engineer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Identify and report value engineering and cost reduction opportunities.
• This position will manage a staff of cost engineers.
• Supporting the development of estimates and budgets.
• Supporting the development of plans and schedules.
• Identifying trends where deviations are about to occur unless action is taken
• Identifying potential scope changes.
• Providing input on project schedule.
• Tracking Labor charges and rates against budgets.
• Tracking performance against the budgets and schedules while correlating performance information against the work processes.
• Analysing variances of both direct hire and contract hire work activities.

Requirement

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 - 10 years experience.
• Supporting the development of plans and schedules and Tracking performance against the budgets and schedules while correlating performance information against the work processes.
• Analysing variances of both direct hire and contract hire work activities and Identifying trends where deviations are about to occur unless action is taken.
• Identifying potential scope changes and Providing input on project schedule.
• Tracking Labor charges and rates against budgets.
• Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them.
• Identify and report value engineering and cost reduction opportunities.
• This position will manage a staff of cost engineers supporting the development of estimates and budgets.

• Project Management Professional PMP
• Plant Design Management System PDMS
• Primavera P6
• Advance excel (Power BI).

Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 monthly.
