Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • Provide timely feedback to line manager about performance, channel integration status planned,
  • Pay attention to the payment industry regulatory policies, competitors and partners,
  • Research and analyze the opportunity points for the improvement of the payment network, and promote the construction of a more competitive payment network,
  • Manages coordination in the rolling out of new services to target partners/customers,
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provides feasible solutions to satisfy partners/customers' needs,
  • Leverage on extensive partners/customers support experience to provide feedback to teams on how to improve Company services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or Its equivalent in Business Management, IT, Computer science, or related field
  • Not less than five (5) years relevant sales / business development experience, preferably in a Fintech / payments startup
  • Technical integration Experience with Banks/Payment Service Providers/Aggregators will be an added advantage
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and experience working with product teams
  • Demonstrate ability and track record of delivering against targets
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics and requirements
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work both independently and part of a team
  • Result-driven with great communication, organization and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives

Job Title:  AML / CFT Compliance Officer

Location: Opebi-Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • Conduct due diligence investigations on payment reports, closing false alerts and escalating suspicious alerts to the Head of Compliance for further investigation.
  • Complete KYC post reviews on on-boarded customers and submit reports on customers with incomplete KYC details or junk data.
  • On a proactive basis, review document processes and procedures, and also assess the compliance risks associated
  • Manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Maintain an appropriate audit trail and documentation in all instances, to evidence/support the review and resolution of issues.
  • Ensure all compliance reviews/reports are being performed timely, adequately and appropriately documented;
  • Reporting all forms of compliance breaches to the Head of Compliance
  • Work closely with the Business and other key stakeholders such as Operations and Technology to identify and mitigate the risks associated with existing and new business with emphasis on higher risk customers
  • Support the analysis and rendition of reports to our local regulators CBN, NFIU, NDIC etc
  • Assist in the management of one or more compliance processes, reports, procedures, or products
  • Execute processes and procedures within defined parameters
  • Any other job that may be assigned by the Head of Compliance.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree / HND in (Statistics / Accounting / Banking & Finance / Mathematics / LLB) or any related field.
  • Not less than three (3) years relevant experience in compliance role with at least two (2) years in the financial services industry.

Job Title: Business Compliance Manager

Job Description

  • Advise the business about how best to achieve new product launches from a regulatory / compliance perspective
  • Complete regulatory and compliance research
  • Write reports which explain the regulatory constraints, risks, and market conditions to communicate how we can successfully launch new services
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Commercial, Product, Operations and Technology to identify and mitigate the risks associated with the existing and new business
  • Taking the lead from the Head of Compliance, build your network with external stakeholders to help us navigate regulatory and compliance changes for the new propositions

Job Title: POS Program Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Define the scope and requirements for the POS terminal roll-out plan with senior management, which includes the support and handling of research, follow up on issues, and the evaluation, installation, and monitoring of potential or selected new vendors/systems;
  • Acts as the primary interface to PalmPay’s service providers as relates to POS programs, including banks, PTSPs, Switches and OEM manufacturers;
  • Manage POS terminal orders end-to-end including ensuring all necessary documentations are secured;
  • Manage PalmPay POS device specifications, customizations, testing and onboarding process;
  • Report the POS revenue, operation details, and evaluation analysis on a monthly basis;
  • Provide operational leadership, coach and mentor the POS device team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the sub-unit;
  • Develops and documents policies and procedures for in order to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations;
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets;
  • Work with the Marketing/Product team to increase user experience of POS services on PalmPay;
  • Keeps current and maintain extensive knowledge of the Rules and Regulations regarding POS rollout and the processing of card transactions and electronic payments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, and any other related social sciences;
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years managing components of a device program;
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with business executives, vendors and peers through effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiating/influencing skills;
  • Extensive experience managing stakeholder relationships preferred, including banks, PTSPs, switches and OEM manufacturers;
  • Thorough knowledge of financial institutions, bank operations, payment processing flows (especially electronic payments), and the financial networks for processing preferred;
  • Working knowledge of Banking/Financial Institution regulatory requirements preferred.

Job Description

  • Shape our future solutions and products, while supporting our ambition to differentiate our premium products through a best-in-market user experience. Collaborate closely with business developers and product managers to define, develop and validate user experiences.
  • Solve complex business problems by humanizing product ideas and developing these into elegant application designs.

Requirements

Job Description
As part of this role you’ll be expected to:

  • Analyze business problems working with a wide group of stakeholders including external business partners
  • Present your insights and suggesting possible solutions
  • Define and validate business requirements
  • Work closely with our partners as we explore how to create new propositions with them under the guidance of the Product Manager / Director
  • Creating new processes (with supporting metrics) to each new service
  • Writing process documents and get sign off from our stakeholder group
  • Analyzing API specifications with our partners and build solution designs
  • Understanding our regulatory constraints working with our compliance team. Clearly including these constraints with your requirements and solution designs
  • Work closely with our Product Management team in SZ to share your insights and collaborate to build new products
  • Facilitating meetings and workshops
  • Acquiring knowledge of PalmPay services and our competitors
  • Evaluating Key Performance Indicators
  • Support with testing and training, if required
