Heartland Alliance, a US-based NGO, is currently recruiting to fill a position in Abuja Country office for USAID- funded HIV/AIDS program in Nigeria, targeting highly marginalized and most-at risk populations With HIV prevention, care and support services.

JOB TITLE: STRATEGIC INFORMATION OFFICER
LOCATION: Lagos

JOB PROFILE

The Strategic Information Officer will be based in Abuja. The SIO will coordinate program level monitoring, impact evaluation and operational research for Heartland Alliance programs across Nigeria.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree MA/MPH/MSc - with significant experience in/knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies;
Knowledge of/skill in using/experience using statistical/data management software;
Fluency in English spoken and written (required)
At least 3+ years’ experience working In the M&E or research field:
Superb writing and editing skills (required):
Knowledge of USAID & PEPFER reporting requirements;
Training and capacity budding experience:
Able to travel by public transportation;
Prior African work and living experience (required)
Nigerian Nationals strongly encouraged to apply;
Highly reliable, motivated and independent.
High attention to detail and commitment to producing work of the highest quality often on short notice:
Able to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision:
Able to live/work in resource-poor and sometimes-insecure environments;
Good sense of humour.
