Job Title: Front Desk /Customer Relation Officer

Location: Ibeju, Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Details

  • We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression.
  • The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests.
  • Keep updated records and files.
  • Answer questions and address complaints.
  • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them.
  • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)

Requirements

  • Qualifications: OND / HND / Bachelor Degree
  • Experience: 2 years Minimum
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Proficient in English (oral and written).
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service Orientation.

Job Title: Excavator Operator

Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary Role Description

  • Excavator Operator is responsible for operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, backhoes, excavators, dozers, etc. to move earth, rocks, and debris on construction sites.
  • The Operator is responsible for lay-outs, fine grading, and completing finishing applications and hoisting. Additionally, the Operator ensures the equipment is well maintained and Completes Trenching & Pit Excavations.

Job Description

  • Controls and maintains lay-out lines during excavation
  • Determines what type of lay-back or bench is needed for safe working conditions by type of soils
  • Determines a percentage of spoils to remain for backfill if using on-site materials and places in a manner that is free from wet conditions
  • Determines how many spoil trucks will be needed for a continuous flow without trucks stacking up or equipment sitting idle.

Qualifications

  • SSCE, WAEC or equivalent; minimum of three years of related experience and/or training
  • Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 30kg
  • Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl
  • Ability to tolerate heights without fear
  • Ability to maintain balance.

 

 

Job Title: Concrete Mixer Truck Driver

Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • A person with this job must be able to safely operate the truck and its auxiliary equipment such as levers, chutes and mixing drums.
  • When the driver picks up the materials to be loaded into the mixer, the driver must be able to manipulate the drum under the hoppers that dispense the cement, gravel, sand, and water into it. The driver must understand the mixing procedure and adjust the speeds on the mixer accordingly.
  • The driver must know what materials should be in the blend and check the work order to ensure she/he is picking up the appropriate mixture.

Must Have

  • Valid operators/drivers license
  • At least one-year Mixer truck experience
  • A clean driving record
  • Ability to abide by precise instructions.
  • Ability to abide by strict but necessary safety rules and policies
  • Must be a reliable and trustworthy individual that will be a team player.
  • Must maintain a good attendance and safety record.
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Understanding of tools, equipment, and safe practices

Job Title: Account Executive (Receivables)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare budget forecasts.
  • Ensure timely bank payments.
  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Publish financial statements in time.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents.
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Position Overview
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Continually identifies builds and develops new client business within a vertical market by pursing business opportunities with strategic targets in construction industries and cultivating relationships with existing clients.
  • Delivers compelling calls and presentations to introduce LMU capabilities and value proposition. Negotiates and communicates complex concepts/business issues to a variety of audiences.
  • Identifies and evaluates new markets and partnership opportunities through direct prospecting, networking, attendance and participation with various industry and professional groups and networking associations.
  • Oversees all aspects of the sales process within the vertical market, including development of opportunity-specific sales strategy, selection of pursuit teams and "quarterbacking" the entire sales process until the final close of the construction project.
  • Defines, tests, refines and implements strategic plans to successfully achieve opportunities within the vertical market segment. These activities include primary research, industry, market and competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment. Ensures strategic objectives of the vertical market segment are well understood and executed by the pursuit team.
  • Provides expertise and direction for the day to day management of bid packages in the development pipeline. Provides client specific opportunity assessment, market evaluation, market research, financial evaluation, and other marketing needs required throughout the proposal preparation and delivery process. Incorporates customer needs and input / feedback from both internal and external groups.
  • Partners in conjunction with the marketing team to create effective marketing strategies to win in the marketplace, including market segmentation, value proposition development, technology positioning, pricing strategy, branding strategy, channel strategy and communications strategy development.
  • Motivates others and provides leadership to accomplish team goals without having direct authority over team members.
  • Prudently manages resources within budgetary guidelines according to company policy and within ethical corporate governance guidelines.
  • Demonstrates positively LMU mission, vision, value statements, reputation, code of ethics, standards, policies and procedures internally and throughout the marketplace.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related discipline required.
  • 5 years substantial and broad business experience in Business Development and/or Account Management with at least 3-5 years demonstrated success in selling and developing new business with revenues ranging from N150 million to over N500 million.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex sales processes that involve multiple team members and multiple decision makers (primarily C-suite decision makers).
  • Demonstrated network of COI's (Centers of Influence) to include developers, owners, owners representatives, architects, engineers and other professional services relationships that could be leveraged to create business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully expand new business and grow existing business within a vertical market.
  • Engaging and highly effective interpersonal, communication and presentation skills that cultivate and grow lasting business relationships both internally and externally.
  • Highly collaborative leadership style with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to ever-changing situations. Must possess the ability to coach, mentor and lead a diverse staff to deliver best in class services to our clients.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen, skills and maturity and the ability to work effectively with others.

Job Title: Sales Coordinator

  • Compiling monthly sales reports.
  • Issuing sales transaction invoices.
  • Expediting orders through internal liaison.

  • Identifying new products to add to those on offer.

Job Title: Block Site Operation Manager

Location: Ibeju, Lagos

Position Overview

  • Operation Manager will coordinate block plant manufacturing activities;manage the site to produce quality products at specified cost levels.

Responsibilities

  • Establish both short- and long-range budgets in order to meet both current and the preceding years P&L plans.
  • Manage site employees performing any required coaching, disciplinary actions, terminations, and annual evaluations.
