Job Title: Maintenance Controller - Control & Automation

Location: Anambra

Job Description

  • Opportunities exist for highly skilled and result driven Maintenance Controller E/C&A -Packaging in our Onitsha Plant reporting to the Packaging Engineer. The successful incumbent with excellent understanding of Control and Automation Processes will provide for the efficient supply of all Automation services to the Packaging departments within the brewery

Traits & Competences Required:

  • Interpret process description specifications and conduct modifications /optimisations of process control software as per specifications and software standards. Identify process control software deviations and resolve or recommend solutions
  • Support the process control software change management process
  • Maintain process control software integrity and security
  • Support the development of and upgrade preventative maintenance procedures for process control systems
  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts
  • Maintain working knowledge of new technology instrumentation, software, etc., through reading and/or attending conferences, workshops or other training  
  • Provide engineering/projects support and recommendations for new and existing equipment about installation, upgrades and enhancement
  • Troubleshoot Packaging as well as Brewing and E&F process control systems when required

Job Title: Process Artisan (Energy & Fluid) - Onitsha Plant

Job Description

  • Opportunity exists for a highly skilled Utilities Process Artisan.
  • The Successful candidate will operate, maintain, repair, and optimize plant and associated devices in Utilities to ensure plant availability and product quality.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

  • Operate machine and equipment.
  • Optimize production performance and process 
  • Maintain, repair, and optimize plant and associated devises.
  • Maintain safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment 
  • Work in teams
  • React to the results using the VPO tools supplied  
  • Actively participate in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing suggestions. Making use of the action logs to record issues, problems, and improvement opportunities

Job Description

  • The primary function of this position is to lead the shift-based team/s in the execution of the production plan to the required performance criteria (QCDSM).

Job Title: Energy and Fluid Specialist - Onitsha Plant

Job Description

  • The primary function of this position is to lead the Process Engineering function in the Brewery and optimize the generation and utilization of all utilities within the process areas in the Plant.  

Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

  • Apply engineering principles in assisting Brewing and E&F production teams to achieve optimal plant performance
  • Provide line support for situational and systemic problem-solving
  • Execute identified process optimization initiatives  
  • Execute identified process capability studies
  • Provide design support for regional capital projects  
  • Support the execution of regional capital projects
  • Lead small CAPIN projects in Brewing and/or E&F plants
  • Provide coaching to process engineering trainees
  • Assist with the identification and closure of Brewing and E&F technological gaps

Job Title: Packaging Instrument Artisan - Onitsha Plant

Job Description

  • Opportunities exist for highly skilled and result driven Instrument Artisan – Packaging in our Onitsha Plant reporting to the Maintenance Controller Packaging.
  • The successful incumbent with excellent understanding of problem-solving tools will monitor and control the Packaging process and equipment and perform autonomous maintenance

Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

  • Plan and Prepare the Job 
  • Stop the machine/process if it appears to endanger safety and quality of the processed product. If the stoppage is longer than 10 minutes, the Instrument Artisan must inform the Team Leader of the problem 
  • Maintain the equipment according to good maintenance 
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in his area of operation 
  • Operate plant and process equipment  
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

  • Maintain working knowledge of new technology instrumentation, software, etc., through reading and/or attending conferences, workshops or other training.
