Job Title: Mine Foreman (Tin – Zinc / Open pit / Hydrology / Trenching / Drilling and Blasting)
Job Description: A top mining company with operations in West Africa is actively seeking a Mine Manger to join their ever growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all mining, Hydrological and processing activities
- Ensure production of 500TPD average
- Drilling & blasting in wet holes, planning on use of ANFO max, drilling patterns, knowledge in firing sequence
- Experience in Open pit operation in wet conditions
- Take appropriate measures to prevent Pit Slope failure in Soft ground condition
- Continue with plans to convert the abandoned Underground mine to open pit
- Work half of the time at site, not an office job
- Successful candidate must have good organizational skills and a proactive leader with communication & team building skills
- Good understanding of Geotechnical parameters and working in wet environments
- Includes rain water diversion, trenching so as to lead the water to main sump
Requirements / Qualifications:
- B.E. (Mining Engineering)
- First or Second Class Mine Managers’ Certificate
- 8+ years of experience in operating open pit mines (Metalliferous)

Job Title: Dewatering Mine Pit Mechanic (Mechanical Engineer / Dewatering Pumps / Diesel and Electric Pumps)
Job Description:
A Mining prominent mining house client of ours based in West Africa is
currently in the market for a Dewatering Mechanic. If you are a hands on
individual with experience working in very wet conditions, dealing with
the maintenance and operations of Diesel and Mechanic Pumps and Open
pit mining experience this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Includes rain water diversion ,trenching so as to lead the water to main sump
- Someone with Africa experience preferred but not ESSENTIAL
- Scheduling maintenance of pumps Diesel & Electric
- Lowering of pumps in pit bottom & adding pipelines
- Adopt precautionary measures with regard to the heavy rainfall
- Good understanding of working in a wet environment
- Mine Dewatering Experience, Selection, Installing, Operating Pumps
Requirements / Qualifications:
- B.E. (Mechanical Engineering)
- 6+ years of experience in Dewatering Pumps
- Experience in Open pit operation in wet conditions.
