Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro Allied & Food Industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry industry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar,custard powder and Chocolate Drink for the Nigerian market.

The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, extraction, refining, packaging and distribution of a wide range of premium products. In response to environmental concerns, we have installed solar panels to partially power the plant onsolar energyalso we have a state of the art effluent treatment plant to treat and reuse the water discharged during the various production processes.

We have created strong brands such as Laziz Oil, Winner Soya Oil, Active Oil, La Mayo Mayonnaise, Laziz Ketchup, Laziz Salad Cream, Laziz Thousand Island, Laziz Vinegar, Laziz Custard, Laziz Chocolate Drink, A1 Soya Bean Meal, A1 Soya Lecithin, HI Pro Concentrate and HI Pro Feed.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Summary

  • Apple and Pears Limited, a manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Supervisor to oversee quality assurance activities at our apple and pear processing facility.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all quality assurance activities in the production of company products
  • Maintain accurate quality assurance records, reports, and documentation
  • Train and guide production staff on quality control procedures and best practices
  • Ensure proper implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  • Carry out routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Identify quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead, supervise, and work effectively within a team
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control within a food manufacturing environment (experience with fresh produce is an added advantage)
  • Good knowledge of food safety standards and quality management systems

Residency Requirement:

  • Applicants must reside in Sagamu, Ogun State, or nearby environs.
  • Only candidates within this location will be considered.

Salary
N180,000 Monthly.
