We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Environmental Specialist

Location: Lagos

Job Description
Job Duties:

• To valiantly work toward protecting and preserving the environment to minimize health hazards to human health and the environment
• To give advice about environmental hazards, and also create a plan to correct the damage or to restore land.
• To meticulously record their research, data and findings to create a report or presentation explaining their conclusions and suggested resolution.
• To help in developing laws and regulations for environmental protection as well as helping them comply with government environmental regulations.
• To provide specialized transportation and disposal services to our clients.
• To help with manifesting, packaging, spill clean-up response and remedial activities, labeling, loading, off loading & coordinating transportation, and sampling/profiling material while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• To periodically collect environmental data through air, soil, water, food, and other material samples. The samples are analyzed to determine if they contain any hazardous material and if so, to what degree.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor of Environmental Science, a Bachelor in Environmental Studies or a Bachelor of Natural Science degree. A Bachelor degree in biology, chemistry, or geosciences may also apply.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office would be beneficial and you may also be required to have a sound understanding of industry standard computer software.
• 3-4 years relevant experience is needed
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
