Job Title: Full Stack Web Developer

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Description / Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Full StackWeb Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsible for the server-side web application logic as well as for the development and integration of the front-end part.
• Responsible for the translation of UI/UX designs to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will bridge the gap betweendesign and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides of the application.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Integration of user-facing elements with server side logic.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Design and Develop new user-facing features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Collaborate with other team members.
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge in Node JS and developing Restful APIs
• Good understanding of Test-Driven Development with Jest, Mocha or Jasmine.
• Proficient knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases as well as AWS S3.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as HTML, CSS JavaScript, ReactJs and Redux.
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Basic understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• 0 - 3 years experience
• Candidates must reside in a commutable distance to Lekki Phase 1
• Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
